Your role and responsibilities
Define Product Strategy and VisionProduct roadmap: Contribute to a scalable, multi-year product strategy for financial consolidation.Analyze market trends: Monitor evolving global accounting standards like IFRS and US GAAP.Identify customer needs: Gather feedback from clients and business partners through ideas website, meetings, in-person events etc.Evaluate competitive landscape: Analyze rival enterprise performance management (EPM) platforms.Deliver Key Software CapabilitiesAutomate multi-currency translation: Build accurate, real-time currency conversion mechanisms.Streamline intercompany eliminations: Design workflows to automatically reconcile internal balances.Enhance journal entries: Create intuitive systems for adjusting and posting entries.Improve data integration: Develop robust APIs to ingest data from diverse ERP systems.Optimize financial reporting: Empower users to generate audit-ready financial statements easily.Lead Cross-Functional ExecutionCollaborate with engineering: Translate complex accounting requirements into clear technical stories.Partner with UX designers: Create simple, intuitive workflows for complex financial data.Support product marketing: Enable sales teams with technical documentation and value propositions.Manage release cycles: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) for financial accuracy.

Required technical and professional expertise
Required Professional ExperienceYears of experience: 3 to 5+ years in the financial consolidation domain.Domain expertise: Proven track record working with finance, accounting, or EPM solutions.Background in finance: Deep understanding of the financial close and consolidation process.Technical data skills: Experience with consolidation systems.Essential Skills and Technical QualificationsAccounting proficiency: Strong working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and financial reporting frameworks.Agile methodologies: Proficient in managing backlogs within Jira or similar frameworks.Communication skills: Skilled at translating complex financial concepts for engineering teams.Problem solving: Analytical mindset focused on data accuracy and system performance.Team ethic: Ability to work as part of a cross-discipline multi-national team.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Preferably a professional accounting qualification or, a university degree in accounting or related major.
