The Shipping Agent Assistant plays a key role in supporting vessel operations, cargo handling, and port documentation. Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating vessel arrivals, departures, and port activities
Prepare and process shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, manifests, invoices)
Communicate with ship captains, port authorities, customs officials, and clients
Track cargo movements and update shipment status reports
Arrange services for vessels (fuel, supplies, crew needs)
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report preparation
Ensure compliance with port regulations and safety standards
Support problem-solving for delays, damages, or documentation issues
