Payments & Cash Management Analyst
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Accounting Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.
This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of payments and managing cash flow within our organization.
We will count on you to:
Review and validate payment requests submitted by internal stakeholders, ensuring supporting documents are complete and compliant with company policies
Create, maintain and update payee records within the finance system and banking platforms
Process supplier and business payments accurately through online banking platforms, ensuring payment details are verified before execution
Perform payee and bank account validation to minimize payment risks and ensure data accuracy
Support daily cash management activities by monitoring payment outflows and assisting with cash forecasting
Prepare payment-related documentation and provide support during internal and external audits
Maintain accurate payment records and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
Participate in process improvement initiatives and projects to enhance payment efficiency and operational effectiveness.
What you need to have:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Payment Operations, Cash Management or Finance Operations.
Experience processing payments through banking platforms or ERP systems
Strong understanding of payment controls, vendor management and bank reconciliation
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience within Shared Services with a high-volume transactional environment is an advantage.
