Accountabilities:
- Define and implement a global product artwork and printed labeling strategy aligned with business growth, launch priorities, and portfolio needs.
- Build standardized processes, governance frameworks, decision pathways, and operating models across products, regions, and external partners.
- Establish and maintain GxP-compliant artwork procedures, controls, audit trails, and inspection-ready documentation aligned with global regulatory expectations.
- Lead end-to-end artwork lifecycle activities, including design, review, approval, printing, implementation, and lifecycle changes.
- Drive change-control execution for labeling updates, regulatory variations, and packaging optimization initiatives while minimizing operational risks and waste.
- Own artwork systems, digital transformation initiatives, and data integrity improvements, including automation and analytics opportunities.
- Lead artwork readiness for new product introductions and global launches, ensuring alignment with regulatory, manufacturing, and supply milestones.
- Act as the global artwork and labeling subject-matter expert, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to deliver compliant solutions.
- Manage external artwork providers, ensuring performance standards, quality expectations, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and lead a high-performing artwork organization through coaching, capability building, KPI management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree such as an MBA or MSc is preferred.
- Approximately 10–12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environments, particularly within artwork, labeling, product launches, or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience designing or transforming operating models and leading global, cross-functional programs.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks, including GMP, ICH, FDA, and EMA requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in product lifecycle management, packaging operations, labeling processes, and artwork management systems such as GLAMS or Veeva Vault.
- Experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders within complex matrix organizations.
- Strong project and program management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive process improvement, risk-based decision-making, and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of compliance, quality systems, and inspection readiness requirements.
