As a member of the I&T department, the candidate will work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at our Woodland Hills, CA facility. This position will be 100% on-site.Job ResponsibilitiesIdentifying unique requirements from a broad customer base, flowing the requirements into design documentation, and working with a diverse team to build and test those requirementsWork on the capabilities of current products, performance analyses, design information, and requirements verification methodsEnsure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraintsPerform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocationGenerate, review, and manage multiple requirements sets that cover all aspects of both performance and nonperformance including mechanical interfaces, electrical interfaces, data requirements, environmental requirements, and reliabilityDesign, develop, and implement testing methods to verify and validate project requirementsPerforming hands-on electrical testing at CCA level and systems level test setupsDocumenting & dispositioning hardware discrepancies, pursuing root cause & corrective actionsBasic Qualifications:8 years relevant experience with B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline equivalent; or 6 years relevant experience with M.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline equivalent; or 3 years relevant experience with PhD Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline equivalentActive US Government Secret Level security clearanceExperience in System Engineering activities such as:Requirements developmentTest Procedure developmentVerification and Validation i.e. experience running tests and documenting resultsAbility to diagnose complex issues, lead problem-solving efforts, and drive tasks to completionDemonstrated teamwork and leadership of projects or teamsStrong...
