Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial guidance on major business decisions, including product investments, pricing strategies, expansion opportunities, and potential acquisitions.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to executive leaders and department heads by providing insights on growth, operational efficiency, and resource allocation.
- Define, track, and improve key business metrics such as gross margin, customer acquisition efficiency, lifetime value, retention, and cash runway.
- Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, preparing clear performance updates and communicating business drivers to leadership and board stakeholders.
- Build and maintain financial models that transform complex data into actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Improve financial systems, tools, and processes to increase automation, accuracy, and scalability as the organization grows.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively while supporting data-driven business decisions.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve FP&A processes and financial operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across sales, marketing, engineering, and product to align financial strategy with business objectives.
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience with a strong foundation in FP&A, strategic finance, and business partnership.
- Deep expertise in financial statements, forecasting, financial modeling, and SaaS business metrics.
- Proven ability to build sophisticated financial models and communicate insights effectively to senior executives.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex information and influence business decisions.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and operating effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting financial information to executives and board-level stakeholders.
- High ownership, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Curiosity and experience using AI tools to enhance financial analysis and planning processes.
- Experience working within a high-growth SaaS or AI-focused company is preferred.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring finance team members is a plus.
- MBA, CFA, or CPA certification is advantageous.
