This challenging position offers the opportunity to design state-of-the-art algorithms for leading edge solutions in smartphones, automotive, IOT, smartwatches as many other consumer electronics devices. Job activities span the whole product life cycle from early R&D to commercial deployment. The successful candidate will work with systems, software, and integration/test engineers in the QCT sensors group Job responsibilities include: Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for single and multi-sensor fusion using ML/AI techniques. Typical development flow uses high level languages like MATLAB and Python. Create reports on algorithm evaluation, validation, benchmarking and delivering complete design and user documentation. Define strategies to analyze and collect data. Balance between performance, power consumption, and computational complexity. Work with global development and test teams. Software implementation in C/C++ on Qualcomm platforms The position is technology focused and involves participation in a broad range of sensors systems engineering activities within the Sensors Technologies group Preferred Qualifications Master or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related area or equivalent experience. Experience with using concepts in probability and statistics, supervised and unsupervised learning, feature extraction, classification, regression etc. Knowledge of inertial sensors or working on algorithm designs using IMUs. Publications in field of signal processing/AI Hands on experience of algorithm implementation and debugging. Minimum Qualifications:•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience. ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
