Accountabilities
- Design, build, maintain, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS environments.
- Lead platform engineering initiatives that improve developer experience, deployment speed, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform while establishing reusable infrastructure patterns and standards.
- Build, enhance, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and self-service platform capabilities.
- Improve observability practices through monitoring, logging, alerting, performance tracking, and incident response processes.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve system reliability, scalability, resilience, and application performance.
- Collaborate with security teams to strengthen cloud security, access management, infrastructure hardening, and compliance practices.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, automation solutions, and AI-powered engineering tools to increase productivity.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and infrastructure design decisions across teams.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the maturity of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, operating, and securing AWS cloud environments.
- Strong expertise with Terraform; experience with Terramate or similar infrastructure orchestration tools is a plus.
- Experience managing containerized environments using ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or comparable platforms.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, or similar solutions.
- Experience with observability platforms including New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, or related technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, identity management, distributed systems, and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, Go, or similar programming languages.
- Ability to lead infrastructure initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive technical improvements across teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
- Experience with large-scale AWS environments, internal developer platforms, SRE practices, SLOs, SLIs, and reliability metrics is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance frameworks, AI-powered developer tools, automation platforms, or cloud-native AI services is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Professional, AWS Security Specialty, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar credentials are beneficial.
- Competitive base salary range of $130,000–$150,000 USD plus a 10% annual bonus opportunity.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take ownership of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering initiatives, and reliability improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance scalability, security, and engineering efficiency.
