No longer listedWe have an opportunity for a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to join us at Honeywell Aerospace in Brno.
As a member of the Services & Connectivity organization and Cabin Management Systems division, you will play a key role in planning and executing aerospace development projects. You will work as part of a cross-functional team with responsibility for delivering projects from concept and requirements definition through development, qualification, certification, manufacturing readiness, and product entry into service.
This role offers the opportunity to develop deep technical and project leadership expertise while contributing directly to Honeywell Aerospace growth and customer success.
You will play a critical role in project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. As the project execution leader, you will be responsible for ensuring projects meet cost, schedule, quality, and technical objectives while working closely with Engineering, PMO, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer stakeholders.
Your experience in product development and project engineering will be instrumental in shaping the success of Honeywell Aerospace programs.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model

Control Systems develops the thermal and motion control systems that help aircraft take off, land safely and protect the people on board. With more than 10 million passengers per day flying on aircraft equipped with our products and more than 75% of commercial flights beginning with our engine start systems, Control Systems reaches farther across the aviation industry than most people realize.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end aerospace projects, owning scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall execution from development through production.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Certification, and Program Management to ensure project commitments are met.
- Manage project risks, issues, and stakeholder communication, providing regular status updates, mitigation plans, and facilitating key project reviews and decisions.
- Support supplier and manufacturing readiness activities, working closely with Strategic Sourcing and ensuring smooth transition from development into production.
- Ensure execution excellence and compliance, tracking KPIs and milestones, driving continuous improvement, adhering to aerospace standards and Honeywell processes, and mentoring less experienced project engineers.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (or related technical field) with 5+ years of experience in engineering, project management, product development, or R&D environments.
- Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects, including ownership of schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk management.
- Strong project execution and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of product development lifecycles, engineering processes, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP); PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification is a plus.
- Experience in regulated industries (preferably aerospace, avionics, or defense), with strong competencies in project planning, technical leadership, problem-solving, cost/schedule control, and continuous improvement.
