Role Title:  CHMU Integrated Logistic Support Services

Role Description:
• Setting and managing work area priorities for fleet procurement support, inventory management/optimisation and forecasting.
• Complex tasks related to CH-47F in-service logistics support (Direct Commercial Sales and Foreign Military Sales), procurement, purchasing and disposals, including responsibility of meeting  inventory Demand Satisfaction Rates as per the CA15 PMP. 
• Manage, analyse and interpret CHMU’s Cooperative Logistics  Supply Support Arrangement case to ensure maximum fleet support  via spares procurement and forecasting; including analysis of United 
States Army Security Assistance Command reports. 
• Support the Deeper Level Maintenance program through liaison with Technical Assessors for technical substitutions, trend analysis, monitoring of maintenance sparing packages and coordinating the timely delivery of the spares required for on-condition replacement. 
• Providing logistical support pertaining to the release of Special Technical Instructions, Deviations, Modifications and sustainment activities through the supply and management of inventory. 
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to resolve materiel logistics maintenance support issues 
• Review and analyse logistics management performance and complete accurate reports through Defence approved reporting tools. 
• Liaise, establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external materiel sustainment stakeholders by providing timely advice and support. 
• Provide advice and support to the logistics team to maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of the fleet spares system for allocated platforms spares. 
• Resolve problems using expertise recommending alternative courses of actions. 
• Build team capability through on-going improvement, mentoring, 
feedback and developing the quality of work undertaken by others within the logistics space. 
• Exercise both initiative and judgment in the interpretation of policy and in the application of procurement management practices and procedures.

Location: Gallipoli Barracks

Weekly Hours: 40 hours
