Job Description
As a Security Master & Pricing Analyst you'll play an important role in supporting the security master and pricing functions within U.S. Bancorp Investments (USBII), the institutional broker-dealer within Global Capital Markets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with investment data, conducting research, solving problems, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate with business partners across Capital Markets while helping maintain the critical security and pricing information that supports trading activity.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and update security master and pricing data used to support trading activities.
- Research investment information and establish new securities and investment products within internal systems.
- Review and process daily reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and update information related to security changes, pricing updates, and other investment data.
- Gather and validate information using Bloomberg and other industry data sources.
- Respond to requests received through internal workflow systems and email.
- Partner with Capital Markets teams and other internal stakeholders to support security setup activities.
- Coordinate with external organizations when needed to facilitate investment setup and maintenance processes.
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
What You'll Work With

Municipal bonds
Corporate bonds
U.S. Treasuries
Certificates of Deposit (CDs)
Commercial Paper
Other fixed-income securities and investment instruments
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically five or more years of relevant work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong operational knowledge of all investments operations’ functions, including thorough knowledge of industry rules and regulations
- Thorough understanding of investments operations such as brokerage, trust or retirement investments
- Experience using Bloomberg
- Familiarity with industry platforms and reference data sources such as DTCC, CUSIP, IDC/ICE, or similar tools.
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple task/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Well-developed planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
- In working with certain investment products, FINRA licensing may be required
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
