This position is located in the Compliance Reporting Directorate (CR), Enterprise Chief Information Security Officer (E-CISO), Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT/E-CISO/CR), in the U.S. Department of State (DOS). The incumbent serves as a supervisory Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity Specialist and authority in IT with an emphasis on information security and cybersecurity compliance reporting for DT's and the Department's global networks and systems.
Serves as the Office Director in directing Federal and contract employees who manage the delivery of IT program and project management artifacts to support the Department's cybersecurity compliance reporting process.
Oversees a team of Branch Chiefs in formulating division strategies, policies, goals, and objectives. Provides leadership, advice, and guidance to senior leadership and staff in interpreting Government-wide and Department laws.
Prescribes, plans, develops, and directs the comprehensive functions, goals, programs, operations, and special projects assigned to the Division, including planning for and managing contractor support needed to carry out functions and projects.
Formulates and directs the development, interpretation, and promulgation of policies, standards, practices, systems, and controls governing all aspects of HR's automated systems.
Initiates and maintains liaison and provides representation for the Bureau with Department officials. Represents DT at meetings, committees, and task force groups to examine, study, and discuss information management and system issues.
