Strategic Deal Architect
We are hiring for a Strategic Deal Architect within a centralized Growth Execution Deal Team that supports Oracle’s most complex and high-value opportunities. This team is engaged by field sales and operates as an extension of Sales Leadership, driving deal structure, technical alignment, and customer-facing narrative.
This is a technical, deal-focused role. You will combine infrastructure knowledge, financial reasoning, and clear communication to help shape and progress strategic deals. You are expected to engage directly with both internal teams and customer stakeholders, ensuring that deal constructs are technically sound, financially aligned, and executable.
Engage on strategic deals to define structure, positioning, and execution approach
Act as a proxy for Sales Leadership when guiding deal direction and trade-offs
Ensure alignment with Oracle’s current pricing, margin, and approval constraints
Translate customer requirements into technically viable infrastructure solutions
Build and validate financial models (e.g., ROI, TCO, consumption scenarios)
Create clear, concise customer-facing materials (presentations, briefs, summaries)
Drive internal alignment across sales, engineering, finance, and product teams
Support field teams under tight timelines to unblock and progress deals
Required Qualifications
Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
Experience with enterprise architecture and large-scale infrastructure deployments
Ability to understand and explain how technical solutions map to business outcomes
Experience working on complex deals, solution engineering, or technical sales
Solid analytical skills; able to work with financial models and deal trade-offs
Clear, direct communicator. Ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences
Comfortable operating in high-pressure, fast-moving environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with OCI or other hyperscale cloud platforms
Background in solution engineering, technical consulting, or deal strategy
Familiarity with pricing models, consumption-based billing, and margin considerations
Experience creating executive-level customer materials

About the Team
The Growth Execution Deal Team is a centralized group within Engineering that supports strategic opportunities across regions. The team combines technical depth, deal strategy, and clear communication to improve the quality and execution of Oracle’s most important deals. This is not a support function—this team is directly accountable for helping deals move forward.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
