The Opportunity

AI is fundamentally changing how enterprises operate.

For decades, procurement teams have relied on spreadsheets, emails, and fragmented processes to manage billions of dollars in spend. As AI agents become capable of executing increasingly complex workflows, the way companies run procurement is about to change.

At Lio, we're building THE AI workforce for procurement.

As an Account Executive, you're not just closing deals.

You're shaping how some of the world's largest enterprises adopt AI Agents in their day-to-day procurement operations. You'll work closely with founders, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to guide enterprise customers through complex buying journeys while helping define an entirely new category of enterprise software.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed enterprise agreements

  • Lead strategic discovery sessions and educate customers on a new category of AI-driven procurement

  • Navigate complex enterprise buying processes and align multiple stakeholders to build conviction

  • Run workshops and product sessions with DAX companies and global enterprises in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with procurement leaders, business stakeholders, and C-level executives

  • Own your pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently drive revenue growth

  • Capture customer feedback and work closely with Product to influence our roadmap and go-to-market strategy

Your Profile

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in B2B software sales with a proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals.

  • Take ownership by default. You drive opportunities end-to-end, move with urgency, and enjoy being accountable for outcomes.

  • Know how to build trust. Whether you're speaking with procurement leaders, operational teams, or C-level executives, you communicate with confidence, credibility, and empathy.

  • Think strategically. You enjoy navigating complex organizations, understanding customer challenges, and creating long-term value instead of chasing quick wins.

  • Enjoy high-growth environments. Things move quickly, priorities evolve, and you're motivated by building rather than maintaining.

  • Are curious about AI and excited about helping enterprises rethink how work gets done.

What's not required

You don't need previous experience in procurement or deep knowledge of ERP systems.

We're much more interested in commercial excellence, strategic thinking, ownership, and your ability to build trusted relationships than in having experience in a specific industry.
