Quality Auditor

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will inspect fabricated and welded products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in metal fabrication, can interpret blueprints, and is confident using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication and welding blueprints.
• Inspect welds and fabricated products for quality and compliance.
• Identify and reject non-conforming products.
• Complete quality inspection documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Inspect incoming raw materials for correct quantities and part numbers.
• Use measuring equipment including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and protractors.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience in quality inspection, preferably in a metal fabrication or welding environment.
• Ability to evaluate and grade weld quality.
• Proficient in reading fabrication and welding blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32' and convert measurements to decimals.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
