Accountabilities:

    In this role, you will own a defined territory and drive revenue growth by developing new opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and supporting successful sales outcomes within the public safety market. You will combine outbound prospecting, market expertise, and consultative selling skills to connect government agencies with solutions that address their operational challenges.

    • Manage and exceed assigned territory quotas and monthly/annual sales objectives through proactive pipeline development.
    • Prospect and engage with police departments, sheriff’s offices, district attorney offices, county governments, and other public safety organizations.
    • Generate, qualify, and advance opportunities from initial outreach through close or collaboration with account executives.
    • Build trusted relationships with government decision-makers, including law enforcement leaders, command staff, procurement teams, and agency stakeholders.
    • Conduct outbound sales activities through phone, email, social selling, and in-person engagement.
    • Support account executives on strategic opportunities by providing public sector market expertise and customer insights.
    • Develop a strong understanding of government procurement processes, including RFPs, cooperative purchasing agreements, and budget cycles.
    • Attend customer meetings, industry conferences, and public sector events as needed to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
    • Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and pipeline updates within CRM systems.
    • Collaborate with sales leadership and teammates to share best practices, market intelligence, and growth opportunities.
    • Use sales technology, including CRM platforms, social selling tools, and AI-powered solutions, to improve productivity and customer engagement.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of government environments, public safety organizations, and consultative technology sales. You should be comfortable managing a territory independently, building credibility with senior stakeholders, and consistently achieving sales goals.

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
      • Demonstrated experience in a quota-carrying sales role with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
      • Experience selling into government, public safety, law enforcement, SaaS, or technology markets strongly preferred.
      • Familiarity with public safety technology solutions, investigative platforms, records management systems, or similar solutions is a plus.
      • Understanding of law enforcement agency structures, local government operations, and public sector buying processes.
      • Knowledge of RFP processes, cooperative purchasing agreements, and government budget cycles.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
      • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust with public safety professionals.
      • Strong discovery and active listening abilities to identify customer needs and recommend relevant solutions.
      • Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
      • Familiarity with LinkedIn, social selling approaches, and AI-enabled sales tools.
      • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and remain focused in a remote sales environment.
      • Willingness to travel based on territory requirements, customer meetings, and industry events.
