Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications under senior team members' guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and help identify test scenarios.
  • Execute automated and manual tests, and help analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Support developers and product owners in reproducing and documenting software defects.
  • Help maintain and improve existing test suites to support test coverage and efficiency.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on testing progress, including basic defect metrics.
  • Stay curious about industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in software testing and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas to improve testing processes.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies (manual and/or automated).
  • Familiarity with programming fundamentals (any language) and willingness to learn testing frameworks/tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum practices is a plus, not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently.
  • Interest in pursuing a career as a QA/Testing Engineer.
  • ISTQB or similar certification is a plus, but not required.
