We need someone who finds that exciting, not exhausting.This role is for a highly analytical business professional who wants to work on the full lifecycle of acquisitions—from identifying promising opportunities, to evaluating businesses, developing investment recommendations, and helping drive deals to completion. We’re looking for someone who enjoys moving between rigorous analysis and real-world decision-making, and who is constantly looking for better ways to source, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities.A few examples of your responsibilitiesDiscover. Identify acquisition opportunities by combining market trends, sector research, data analysis, and creative sourcing techniques. Separate signal from noise, develop a clear view of each opportunity’s potential, and ensure the most promising opportunities make it into the pipeline.Analyze. Build financial models, develop a deep understanding of how businesses create value, and assess the key drivers of growth, risk, and long-term performance. Transform financial, operational, and market insights into clear investment theses and actionable recommendations that guide high-stakes capital allocation decisions.Negotiate. Engage founders and business owners, build trust, and navigate complex discussions to reach mutually beneficial outcomes. Balance persistence, judgment, and pragmatism to secure attractive terms in competitive situations.Improve the machine. Continuously refine how we source, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities. Analyze past decisions, identify patterns, challenge assumptions, and leverage AI, automation and proprietary insights to make the acquisition process smarter, faster, and more effective over time.What we look forReasoning ability.
