Data Network Engineer Job Locations US-VA-Chantilly Requisition ID 2026-167150 Position Category Information Technology Clearance Top Secret/SCI w/Poly Responsibilities General Responsibilities:Maintain the overall data architecture and data flow design for the deployed systemsCollaborate with and support external data users, acting as a direct liaison to external data users for the customerAct as the system's primary point of contact for data output and delivery and data formattingEvaluate data architecture design, perform feasibility and cost studies as well as internal studies of network performance and traffic analysisWork closely with system developers on management and integration of system enhancements, fixes and long-term maintenance to understand impacts to the network and data deliveryWork closely with system operators to ensure mission continuity and maximum capabilitySupport the high-level management of system deployments and operations and maintenance Qualifications Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA.Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly to be consideredMinimum of 12 years of relevant technical experienceDirect experience with relevant customer enterprise data systems/repositories and data analysisExperience with terrestrial communications, data circuits and general networkingExposure to SIGINT system designAbility to work independently and act as the customer's representative with developers and outside organizationsNetworking certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNP, etc. are a plusAWS certifications and exposure are a plus Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
