Accountabilities:

    • Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, challenges, and decision-making processes to align technical solutions with strategic outcomes.
    • Partner closely with account executives, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
    • Act as the technical lead throughout the sales process, positioning solutions that address enterprise storage, cloud, and infrastructure requirements.
    • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture discussions to executive and technical stakeholders.
    • Lead customer evaluations, proof-of-concepts, benchmarking activities, and system configurations to secure technical wins.
    • Translate business and technical requirements into innovative, scalable solutions that support customer growth and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Identify new opportunities for interoperability, validation testing, and technology adoption across customer environments.
    • Collaborate with product management and technical marketing teams to develop supporting materials, presentations, and thought leadership content.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies to strengthen solution positioning.
    • Support complex sales opportunities by contributing to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and strategic account initiatives.
    • Represent the organization as a technical expert and advocate for best practices across enterprise infrastructure and cloud technologies.
    • Requirements:

      • Previous pre-sales or sales engineering experience within enterprise technology environments is required.
      • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience spanning enterprise storage, networking, systems infrastructure, cloud technologies, or software solutions.
      • Strong understanding of enterprise architectures, including multi-tiered, distributed, and web-based computing environments.
      • Expertise in storage technologies and architectures, including SAN, NAS, DAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and related ecosystems.
      • Experience with Linux environments, NFS file systems, distributed computing architectures, and enterprise infrastructure deployments.
      • Solid understanding of digital transformation initiatives, including cloud-native architectures, automation, containers, and modern application platforms.
      • Familiarity with public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, as well as Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
      • Knowledge of VMware, networking technologies, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and enterprise networking concepts.
      • Experience supporting complex sales cycles and responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
      • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
      • Experience working with storage-intensive applications and databases such as SQL and Oracle is considered an asset.
      • Strong presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
