Accountabilities:
- Administer and manage complex enterprise network environments across data centers and distributed office locations worldwide.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routing and switching infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability.
- Support and manage enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-connected networking environments.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including access control lists, firewall policies, and secure connectivity solutions.
- Handle critical incidents, escalations, and severity cases, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate with internet service providers, clients, and onsite technical teams to resolve network and security-related issues.
- Perform root cause analyses, maintain detailed incident documentation, and implement long-term remediation strategies.
- Execute firmware and operating system upgrades on network devices while ensuring minimal service disruption.
- Facilitate high-priority incident management calls, providing technical leadership and clear communication during critical situations.
- Contribute to operational excellence initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and infrastructure optimization.
- 5 to 10 years of experience implementing, supporting, and managing multi-vendor enterprise network environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in routing and switching technologies, particularly within Cisco-based infrastructures.
- Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.
- Advanced understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, ARP, MAC address tables, Spanning Tree Protocol, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, ACLs, NAT, and VPN technologies such as IPSec and GRE.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise LAN and WAN environments.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and implementation of security controls.
- Experience handling enterprise network operations, major incidents, escalations, and high-severity cases.
- Exposure to wireless networking technologies, including Cisco wireless controllers and Aerohive solutions, is considered advantageous.
- Proven experience collaborating with global clients across the United States, Europe, and APAC regions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure environments.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage expectations and build trusted relationships.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly desirable.
