Accountabilities:
- Qualify inbound and SDR-generated leads by assessing fit, buying intent, stakeholder landscape, and opportunity value.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand agency needs, priorities, procurement timelines, and funding structures.
- Support enterprise account executives in building and executing strategic account plans across federal, state, and local government organizations.
- Map key stakeholders, decision-makers, procurement officers, and executive sponsors within target accounts.
- Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline through proactive follow-ups, stakeholder engagement, and relationship nurturing.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, executive briefings, and customer engagement activities.
- Ensure accurate CRM management, including opportunity updates, forecasting support, and activity tracking.
- 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or public sector sales roles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent opportunities in a structured sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Understanding of public sector procurement processes and extended sales cycles is highly valued.
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise software sales is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-selling model alongside account executives and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to pipeline discipline and follow-through.
- Ability to conduct research, map accounts, and identify whitespace opportunities.
