Our Simulation team is driving forward exactly the foundation NOVA relies on: realistic, scalable simulation environments that shorten the path from the physical cell into the cloud. As a Simulation & Robotics Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of robotics simulation, cloud infrastructure, and cutting-edge rendering pipelines powered by AI. Your main focus will be building and automating our Gaussian Splatting pipeline, while making sure our simulation solution can be rolled out reliably as a cloud product to our customers. Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Omniverse is a welcome bonus. This role is for someone who doesn't just write code, but consistently thinks through technical decisions from the customer's perspective - and who moves effortlessly between deep technical rigor and a pragmatic approach to new technologies.You'll help shape what comes next:Build and automate our Gaussian Splatting pipeline with the goal of an end-to-end workflow from video to finished simulationDevelop control logic and behavior models (Behavior Trees) for robotic systemsBring our simulation solution to customers as a cloud product, including Kubernetes operation and scalingOptionally, help evolve our simulation environment with NVIDIA Isaac Sim and OmniverseUse AI coding tools deliberately and in a structured way, without compromising on code qualityWork closely with Engineering and Product, and bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholdersSolve technical challenges independently and communicate trade-offs openly and transparentlyYour profileTechnical skills:Experience with Gaussian Splatting pipelines, with the goal of end-to-end automation from video to finished simulationExperience in the Gaussian Splatting environmentCloud knowledge and Kubernetes, as the solution is rolled out to customers as a cloud productProgramming skills matching our team stack (Python, C++)Confident use of AI coding tools, combined with a structured way of working and a high standard for code qualityNice to have:Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim and OmniverseWay of working:Customer-oriented mindset in technical decision-makingAbility to mediate between technical and non-technical stakeholdersIndependent problem-solving with open communication of trade-offsPragmatic view of new technologies in the AI and robotics spaceWhat matters most to us:Strong communication skills, including on critical or uncomfortable topicsYou show up openly in the team and don't hide behind tasks or challengesStrong collaboration skills working with Engineering and ProductProactive in identifying topics rather than working in a purely reactive wayWhy us?Make an impact!Work on an innovative, deep tech product that adds value to the robotics world and to society!
