Accountabilities:

    • Oversee underwriting activities for Cyber Liability, Technology E&O, and Security insurance products, ensuring profitable growth and disciplined risk selection
    • Build and manage strong relationships with retail agents and wholesale brokers to drive submission flow and expand market presence
    • Develop and execute territory strategies, identifying new business opportunities through pipeline development, pre-qualification, and market analysis
    • Partner with sales and internal teams to align underwriting strategy with production and profitability goals
    • Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and product performance to inform pricing and underwriting decisions
    • Support broker education by clearly communicating coverage, risk mitigation strategies, and product capabilities
    • Collaborate cross-functionally on underwriting feedback, claims insights, and product enhancements
    • Requirements:

      • 3+ years of underwriting experience in Cyber Liability and/or Technology E&O insurance
      • Strong knowledge of cyber risk assessment, insurance products, pricing strategies, and compliance considerations
      • Proven ability to manage broker relationships and generate profitable new business
      • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding production, profitability, and growth targets
      • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a sales-oriented mindset
      • Ability to work independently within underwriting authority and manage a high-volume workload
      • Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional designations (e.g., RPLU or similar) are highly valued
      • Comfortable with travel requirements (25–40%) depending on territory
