Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community. #CHIMSRES22#MedsurgRN2025 Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Medical Surgical Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Every day you will have the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.  To be successful in this role, you must have enthusiasm to help others - with a patient-first mindset. Keen assessment skills and critical thinking will support you in a fast-paced clinical environment where you will rarely experience the same day twice. Expect to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging We are offering up to $15,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 educational assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
