This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a tax analyst on the Finance Tax team reporting to the Tax Leader, you will focus on this role. You will manage the calculation, filing, and reconciliation of federal, state, local, and foreign taxes, including Mexican tax requirements. It also ensures accurate tax recording, revenue and tax account reconciliations, and compliance with withholding and electronic invoicing controls.
What you'll do during a typical day:
As Tax Analyst you would be manage all operational tax duties of our Mexico and Caribbean Managed hotels in the continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and maintaining accurate control environments. Specifically, you would perform the following duties:
- Mexican tax filing
- Ensure that accounting records record tax transactions in their financial systems
- Ensure revenue reconciliations are accurate
- Calculate local and foreign tax withholdings
- Electronic invoicing controls
- Tax accounts reconciliations

- Good knowledge in computer science, including Excel
You'll take ownership of:
- Calculate monthly Federal operational taxes
- Calculate monthly State operational taxes
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Six (6) months of experience in an internship or professional position, with Accounting or Bookkeeping or Tax
- Work a hybrid office schedule based in our office in Mexico City 3 days per week
- Experience using Excel to maintain spreadsheets
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
