During your internship you will have the opportunity to: * Work alongside a global community of over 6,000 IBM interns and meet other IBM employees during networking events, special events, team building and professional development activities. * Increase your skills through a combination of educational platforms and professional guidance from your manager, coach and mentor to get everything you need to shape the beginning of your career. * Learn about a client's industry, meet new challenges, and learn how their business and technology intersect. * Participate in a real project or initiative and experience first hand how we help transform our clients' business. **Required technical and professional expertise** * BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering * Exposure to programming language such as C/C++/Python * Knowledge of Linux distributions * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Collaborative skills and ability to work in fast-paced agile environments. * Quick learner with business acumen. * Intermediate to advanced English (B2) **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Knowledge of computer architecture and distributed systems.
