You’ll serve as the technical lead for a growing service line by building performance reports, conducting root-cause analyses, and translating operational questions into scalable data products used by four director-led business teams, executive leadership, and client-facing stakeholders.
You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy and help shape a new analytics service line.
What You'll Do
Data Development & Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and data models in Snowflake, with adaptability to Databricks, data lakes, and downstream databases as the stack evolves
- Build scalable, reusable, well-QA’d datasets, including safely handling joins, one-to-many relationships, and duplication risk before release
- Partner with data engineering to ensure data integrity, availability, and efficient pipeline design
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies across multiple source systems
Revenue Cycle Analytics & Reporting
- Apply deep knowledge of revenue cycle operations, including physician (PB) and hospital (HB) billing, AR days, defective/untouched AR, denial rates, charge lag, collections, and productivity KPIs
- Build and maintain physician data models in Epic
- Own end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards and reports used by internal leadership, operating teams, and external clients
- Define, standardize, and govern KPI definitions to drive consistency across the organization
Performance & Root-Cause Analytics
- Conduct root-cause assessments on operational performance issues and translate findings into actionable insights
- Design new reports and analytical products from scoping through delivery
- QA your own work before it goes to stakeholders
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner directly with four business directors and their teams, executive leadership, and client stakeholders
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences
- Act as a trusted advisor for data-driven decision-making across Performance Management
