The Technical Enablement Strategist (TES) leads the development of technical education solutions for Global Services (GS), partners, and customers. Responsible for global offerings, the TES deploys engaging, hands-on programs to build technical expertise and consulting skills. This role is critical in driving product adoption and increasing customer understanding through dynamic enablement strategies.

The Global Technical Enablement & Education team improves Akamai's product learning for Customers, Partners, and GS. We develop self-paced courses, instructor-led training, and interactive environments (eLearning, labs, apps, virtual classrooms). Our focus includes Akamai products, industry landscapes, and certifications to empower GS as experts in value-driven consulting. This education enables effective product deployment, supporting cloud strategies and ensuring lasting success.
As a Technical Enablement Strategist II, you will be responsible for:
- Elevating GS expertise in technical value selling, consulting, competition, and market landscapes.
- Launching global Services foundational programs to enhance technical and certification skills
- Developing enablement strategy and educational offerings for specific GS sub-organizations.
- Partnering with corporate education and global standards to improve the GS organization
- Demonstrating leadership by actively developing and innovating within GS and Navigate the global organization to develop scalable programs.
- Using AI tools to accelerate training material development (content drafting, lab scripts, quiz creation) while maintaining Akamai's technical accuracy and brand standards

To be successful in this role you will:
- Demonstrate IT industry experience.
- Have extensive experience in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or customer-facing consulting roles.
- Possess experience in Internet technologies/protocols (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Web architecture).
- Have experience with training tools (e.g., Articulate Rise/Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Demonstrate proven experience integrating AI into instructional workflows to reduce content development time.
- Have experience with Cloud, Content Delivery Networks, Web Performance, and/or Security
- Possess highest levels of both business and technical acumen understanding and capturing business drivers and success metrics.
- Have experience with technology learning and development organizations or projects.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal abilities, including time management, conflict resolution, delivering engaging presentations, pitching solutions, technical negotiation, and consultancy expertise.
