Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence dashboards, executive reports, and persona-based analytics solutions.
- Build and maintain data models, reporting feeds, and reusable data assets to support business reporting needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand analytical requirements, refine business questions, and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Use Power BI and SQL expertise to create scalable reporting solutions, including complex visualizations, DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and data models.
- Perform data analysis to identify business drivers, trends, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, accessibility, and compliance with security and privacy standards.
- Document report logic, KPI definitions, data sources, assumptions, and refresh processes.
- Manage reporting priorities, identify process improvement opportunities, and streamline analytics workflows.
- Apply AI-assisted tools and automation techniques to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency in BI activities.
- Follow and promote best practices in Power BI development, governance, and analytics delivery.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to evaluate opportunities for improving BI capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, data visualization, and dashboard development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, tabular modeling, visualizations, Row-Level Security (RLS), composite models, Power BI Service, and governance capabilities.
- Solid understanding of database systems, analytical processing, data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse concepts.
- Strong SQL development skills, including queries, views, stored procedures, and reusable analytics assets.
- Experience with requirement analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms and integration technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, AWS, or similar solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or internal AI agents is desirable.
- Knowledge of additional tools and technologies such as Excel, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, REST APIs, PowerShell, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, Python, or R is a plus.
- Experience supporting both new BI implementation projects and ongoing maintenance environments.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across geographical and cultural environments.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services, Agile methodologies, or Microsoft Power BI/SQL certifications is a plus.
