We are seeking a Business Support Specialist to collaborate closely with the Vodafone Cloud & Infrastructure (VCI) Senior Leadership Team and business units, ensuring efficient delivery management across the organisation. The role acts as a central point of contact, supporting strategic initiatives, enabling transformation programmes, and driving operational excellence through analytical thinking, technical understanding, and strong stakeholder engagement.What you’ll do
Partner with business leaders to develop business plans and proactively identify opportunities.Provide forward-looking recommendations based on risk and return assessments.Contribute to technical discussions by understanding architecture and key concepts.Promote operational efficiency, optimising developer productivity and infrastructure costs.Collaborate daily with stakeholders, analysts, developers and database specialists to define requirements and propose solutions.Work closely with risk, information security and quality teams to ensure programme compliance and monitoring.Oversee the full lifecycle of VCI initiatives, from concept through planning, execution and benefits tracking.Apply subject matter expertise to evaluate business operations and processes across VCI.Guide and mentor stakeholders in implementing solutions effectively.Support Senior Leadership with day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives.Contribute to key areas such as technology evaluation, cloud strategy, automation, security and operational excellence.Support the VCI Transformation Programme and leadership governance activities.Act as a central SPOC for the VCI Senior Leadership Team within the broader organisation.Lead complex data and business analyses to generate insights and recommendations.Define and track performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.Build advanced statistical and financial models to forecast performance and support decision-making.Prepare high-quality presentations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.Support strategic customer review meetings and governance forums.Who you are
Experience of at least five years in an IT environment.Proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership stakeholders.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with balanced decision-making capabilities.Fluent in English.Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe practices.Expertise in process analysis and modelling.Knowledge of operational frameworks such as ITIL.Experience working in large,...
