The Product Engineer for Gross Margin/Cost Improvement will be responsible for delivering projects that promotes cost savings. He/she will primarily deal with improvement initiatives such as yield improvement projects to increase product yields as well as minimize scrap costs, product characterization driven by new product requirement and/or post release activities, test time reduction and process flow simplifications in adherence to alleviate capacity constraints and product qualification work driven by new material, fab or new process evaluation that results to reduction of full factory cost.  

Qualifications
•  Graduate of BS Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering. MS units in related engineering field is an advantage.
•  At least 5 years work experience in a semiconductor test engineering environment.
•  Solid background in electronics, circuit analysis and product understanding of amplifiers, ADCs, DACs or Switch/Multiplexers.
•  Knowledge in Battery Management System (BMS) device is an advantage.
•  Knowledgeable in programming languages such as C++, LabView, VB/VB.net.
•  In-depth knowledge in various ATE platforms like Advantest 93K, ETS364, ETS800 and SPEA. Test platform migration experience is also an advantage.
•  Experience in PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro, PADS PowerPCB or similar is a plus
•  Strong background in IC test and measurement systems and methods.
•  Adepth in using bench test equipment such as Source meters, Oscilloscopes, and Spectrum Analyzers.
