The Role:

Yubico is looking for an experienced, highly driven and resourceful Deal Desk Analyst that will be responsible for deal support to our Global Sales team.

Our primary focus is assisting Sales in the deal cycle from quote to booking; we are passionate about how Deal Desk can help the sales team be more strategic and efficient. This role will work with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Legal, Finance, Order Management and Product.

You must be a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced organization with users from all levels of the company. You must be able to provide sound business insight for building operational excellence as well as have a good understanding of sales cycles, complex hardware and software deal structures, and the complexities of global transactions and hardware fulfillment.

At Yubico, we work closely as a team, value respect and humility and are always willing to pitch in and help other members of the team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Deal Desk, enjoys working closely with Sales, embraces challenges, and possesses the emotional smarts to tackle them.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Deal Desk liaison for the field sales team, with a dedicated focus on streamlining quoting processes and leading educational initiatives to reinforce channel best practices
  • Offer comprehensive support and coverage for Enterprise Quoting as required, ensuring high-quality output
  • Engage proactively in the early stages of complex deal cycles to provide strategic advice to account executives on pricing strategies, deal construction, and the selection of appropriate contracting vehicles
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional departments, including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain, to manage and resolve non-standard or intricate transactions
  • Partner closely with the Deal Desk Manager to develop and execute renewal strategies for historically complex accounts, ensuring long-term alignment with company objectives
  • Rigorously verify that all deals adhere to corporate compliance policies and are structured to support accurate, high-efficiency downstream processing
  • Facilitate and optimize Salesforce booking and fulfillment workflows by coordinating seamlessly with billing, order entry, and supply chain teams to reduce turnaround times
  • Administer, maintain, and regularly update the Deal Approval Matrix and channel documentation to ensure internal transparency
  • Identify and drive cross-functional process improvements, managing the documentation and communication of policy updates and standardized templates
  • Provide ongoing support to the Sales Operations team through ad-hoc projects, bug reporting, and the implementation of procedural enhancements
  • Maintain high availability and commitment for extended hours during critical end-of-quarter periods to ensure all pending deals are processed
  • Demonstrate a high degree of resourcefulness and self-sufficiency, executing complex tasks with both speed and technical precision
  • Serve as the designated team lead and point of contact in the absence of the Deal Desk Manager, providing leadership and guidance to the team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in establishing, documenting, and implementing scalable best practices for the deal desk, ensuring seamless alignment between strategic deal development and downstream order administration
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales support, sales operations, or sales enablement, specifically within the enterprise software or technology hardware sectors
  • Proven ability to thrive within a global operations environment, including the flexibility to adjust working hours to support various time zones and critical business cycles
  • Strong preference for candidates with direct prior experience in Deal Desk activities, including deal modeling, complex pricing structures, and contract vehicle determination
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, with the ability to facilitate and optimize complex booking and fulfillment workflows to reduce turnaround times
  • A deep understanding of cross-system data integrity and technical precision, ensuring that all structured deals support accurate financial and supply chain reporting
