Role Summary
Support and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. Troubleshoot technical issues, minimize downtime, and improve tool performance through maintenance, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues to maximize uptime and reliability
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
Develop and improve preventative maintenance procedures and schedules
Partner with technicians, production, and engineering teams to optimize operations
Track equipment performance, analyze faults (SPC/Pareto), and drive continuous improvement
Support tool installs, upgrades, and qualifications
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Work safely with chemicals, gases, and cleanroom protocols
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate with operators and technicians to identify performance gaps
Support process experiments and new test methods
Promote a strong safety-first culture
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, or systems)
Ability to read schematics and apply statistical process control (SPC)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE and physical demands (standing, lifting, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom manufacturing
Knowledge of robotics, vacuum, pneumatic, or PLC systems
Programming experience (e.g., Python, Visual Basic)
Strong mechanical aptitude and data analysis skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong collaboration across manufacturing teams

Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
