What You'll Be Doing

The Trust Investment Associate provides administrative and analytical investment support to portfolio managers, including completing required paperwork, updating databases, maintaining records, conducting limited research projects, and providing administrative coordination with trading, operations, and client service areas.

What We're Looking For

  • Assist portfolio managers by providing administrative and analytical support in handling various investment management activities. Activities include and not limited to reviewing investment portfolios for asset allocation and product guidelines, trading, rebalancing, raising cash and producing performance reports.
  • Coordinate and respond to corporate action and reorg election requests and assisting in implementation of investment solutions when appropriate.
  • Responsible for conducting new account and annual Reg 9 reviews for trust company managed accounts.
  • Performs investment research, keeps informed of developments in investment management industry.
  • Prepare client investment letters, and presentations.
  • Assist in preparation of Investment Committee materials and responsible for recording minutes. Maintain department industry research and report information.
  • Research client inquiries, document account activities and client interactions
  • Perform various office related tasks, such as answering department phone lines, distributing reports, photocopying materials, mailing correspondence, filing and imaging.

What You'll Bring

  • Understand and comply with all regulations, including 12CFR9, Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
  • Ability to use solid logic and reasoning to identify complex problems; review related information and develop options and implement solutions.
  • Ability to assess liability and react appropriately and promptly.
  • Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum Required: 1-3 years' Financial Services industry experience

Licenses & Credentials

  • Minimum Required: None

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
