LMW on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing company operating in the food industry, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive international business growth and expand its global customer portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys developing new markets, building long-term partnerships, and identifying business opportunities across Europe and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's international business development strategy.
- Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities in target international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, hospitality groups, retailers, and food service partners.
- Expand the company's presence within the HoReCa, hotel, restaurant, café, deli, and premium food sectors.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Prepare commercial proposals and lead negotiations through to successful deal closure.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and long-term account development.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the company's international expansion strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, International Sales, or Key Account Management.
- Previous experience within the Food & Beverage industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in the Hospitality sector will be considered a strong asset.
- Proven track record of developing new markets and generating new business internationally.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial mindset with a results-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20% of the time).
