Transaction Manager – Loan Agency 

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (permanent)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site in Dublin)

Salary range: The salary range for this specific role will be €55,000 – €65,000 gross per year. (The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender-neutral compensation framework.)


JOB SUMMARY

The Transaction Manager, Loan Agency (Global Capital Markets) supports the delivery of loan agency services for a growing portfolio of client companies with underlying assets including Project Finance, real estate and auto loan portfolios, RMBS, CMBS, CDO, ABS, and trade receivables. 

Reporting to the Loan Agency Manager, you will manage end-to-end execution of loan transactions, including documentation review, closing coordination, system setup, cash movements, and stakeholder reporting. You will collaborate closely with borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, and third-party service providers to ensure transactions are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable agreements and controls.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage loan transaction execution, including coordination of closings, amendments, consents, and ongoing lifecycle events with lenders, borrowers, agents, and legal counsel.
  • Prepare, review, and track transaction and facility documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with loan agreements and internal controls.
  • Set up and maintain loan facilities in loan administration systems; process drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, interest and fee calculations, and related events in line with governing documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain deal records, including covenant racking, compliance events, outstanding conditions, and documentation status throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Perform and maintain waterfall/IPD calculations and reporting, and validate key loan-related events (e.g., coupons, rollovers, deposits, IPDs) for accuracy.
  • Execute and authorize settlements and payments (e.g., loan settlements, invoices, fees) and manage cash positions across multiple jurisdictions, bank accounts, and platforms.
  • Produce timely, accurate stakeholder reporting on balances, interest rates, fees, cash movements, and upcoming events, escalating issues and risks as appropriate.
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing requirements, including client due diligence and AML/KYC documentation, working with internal partners as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, operational risk reduction, and ad hoc projects to support team capacity and service quality.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 5+ years of experience in loan agency, loan operations, structured finance operations, or corporate banking within a controlled operational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of bilateral and syndicated loan structures, facility/loan agreements, and the roles of key transaction parties.
  • Proven experience with loan lifecycle processing (drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, interest/fees) and a strong understanding of cash flow mechanics.
  • Experience with payments, settlements, cash management, and reconciliation processes, including issue investigation and resolution.
  • High numeracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including confidence interacting with internal teams and external counterparties.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); comfort working with data from banking platforms and loan administration tools.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting structured finance or capital markets transactions (e.g., RMBS, CMBS, CDO, ABS, trade receivables).
  • Experience in Project Finance a benefit
  • Experience using WSO (Wall Street Office) or a similar loan agency/loan administration platform.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation in partnership with external legal counsel.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC requirements and onboarding controls within financial services.
  • Experience working with multi-jurisdictional bank accounts and payment platforms, including cut-offs and operational controls.
  • Interest in business development and relationship management within loan agency / global capital markets services.
