Team Leader – Complex Manufacturing OperationsWhat You Will Do
As a Team Leader within our manufacturing operations, you will take ownership of both leading a team and operating highly complex production machinery. This is a hands-on role where you will combine technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output across the production line. You will oversee advanced equipment such as foundry furnaces, CNC lathes, injection moulding machines, and specialised production cells, while supporting your team in achieving performance, quality, and safety targets. You will also drive continuous improvement through the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and best manufacturing practices.What We Offer

How You Will Do It
  • Lead and support a team of operators to achieve production, quality, and safety targets
  • Operate highly complex machinery including furnaces, CNC lathes, injection moulding equipment, and custom manufacturing cells
  • Perform and oversee advanced machine set-ups to optimise performance and output
  • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot complex technical and process issues, minimising downtime
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process instructions
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hazardous materials procedures
  • Conduct regular performance and quality checks across the team
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across the shift
What We Are Looking ForRequired:
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment operating complex machinery
  • Proven experience using CNC, moulding, furnace, or similar industrial equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in a team leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of machine set-ups and troubleshooting
  • Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. hazardous materials) or willingness to obtain
  • 2-year technical qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:
  • Experience leading teams within high-volume or precision manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with specialised or custom-built production cells
