Position Summary

Manage day-to-day administrative functions of the Management and Technology department’s continuing education (CE) and custom programs within the Division of Programs in Business (DPB) at the School of Professional Studies (SPS). Oversee adjunct faculty appointment and payment. Resolve faculty issues or concerns related to non-credit program(s), address questions around NYUSPS policies and procedures, course scheduling, course preparation, etc. Analyze faculty and course data, produce detailed faculty and course reports, and provide recommendations for course and faculty needs across the program(s). Collect, analyze, and make recommendations based on student feedback data in order to determine student satisfaction. Advise students on issues such as curriculum requirements, course selection, registration, and career exploration. Plan and implement special student programs including prospective student outreach events and new student orientations. Plan and execute programs for students. Manage the operations for custom programs, onboard student, faculty, and external partner; oversee schedule of programs; produce communications. Coordinate participant enrollment and registration processes, and serve as a primary point of contact for all stakeholders across all stages of the program lifecycle. Oversee technology and space reservations, badge and certificate development, and day-of program execution. Develop and manage program budgets, maintain program documentation, and ensure alignment with School and University policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:3+ years Relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience planning and implementing administrative activities.Preferred Experience:Experience in Higher EducationRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Must be able to work well in a changing environment and practice creative problem solving. Ability to market programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Demonstrated project management skills.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,999.99. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
