  • Prospect for new clients

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Generate and convert new business: Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead generation goals
  • Build and maintain client relationships: Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments, nurturing existing accounts and developing new ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability
  • Develop targeted sales strategies: Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals
  • Lead end-to-end sales process: Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue
  • Manage booking details: Coordinate customer requirements including room, food and beverage, and meeting space, and ensure accurate and timely entry of account and reservation information in the hotel’s sales management system
  • Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
