As a Group Reservation Coordinator, you’re not just supporting the hotel’s group booking process – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Process group reservations: Coordinate group booking details, including rooming lists, suites, event resumes, and billing requirements.
- Ensure seamless communication: Act as a liaison to verify and relay reservation information between internal and external stakeholders, including meeting planners, housing bureaus, convention teams, and the front office
- Provide exceptional customer service: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients, guests, and team members
- Support special projects: Assist with coordinating departmental initiatives or ad-hoc assignments
- Provide administrative support: Assist department managers with clerical work such as word processing, data entry, filing, and copying
