As a Hostess, you’re not just overseeing the seamless execution of daily banquet operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Greet all Guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression in line with Hilton hospitality standards.
  • Manage Guest reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and Guest satisfaction.
  • Escort Guests to their tables in a friendly and courteous manner, presenting menus and providing initial assistance as required.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Food & Beverage service team to ensure smooth coordination of table allocations and service flow.
  • Handle Guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary to ensure resolution.
  • Monitor and manage waitlists during peak periods, providing accurate wait time information and ensuring Guest comfort.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the reception, host stand, and restaurant entrance areas.
  • Support in maintaining accurate reservation records and updating seating charts as required.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of outlet operations, promotions, and Hilton standards to enhance the Guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand standards, health & safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Contribute to team spirit and a positive working environment, supporting colleagues to achieve excellent Guest satisfaction scores.

Hostess – Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Front Office, or Guest Service role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to deliver excellent Guest service and create positive first impressions in line with Hilton hospitality standards.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant reservation systems and seating management is an advantage.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance at all times in accordance with brand standards.
