Accountabilities:
- Lead and execute company-wide culture and engagement initiatives, including retreats, recognition programs, celebrations, employee surveys, and community-building activities.
- Support the delivery of company meetings, learning sessions, and internal communication initiatives.
- Gather employee feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance workplace culture and engagement.
- Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance support, and offboarding processes.
- Manage HR systems, including employee data updates, reporting, and platform improvements.
- Drive recruitment processes and support early career programs such as graduate and co-op initiatives.
- Manage employee benefits programs, working with providers and external partners.
- Support time tracking activities, including leave management, approvals, and employee records.
- Partner with team leaders on coaching, performance management, and employee development strategies.
- Lead performance review processes, bonus calculations, and improvement plans when required.
- Support employee relations matters and collaborate with leadership on complex situations.
- Develop learning and professional development initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Maintain job frameworks, compensation structures, policies, and compliance documentation.
- Provide strategic people insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance employee experiences.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR or People Operations experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior HR generalist, People leadership, or similar role.
- Experience within technology, consulting, or professional services environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to strategic planning, role design, and compensation framework development.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed team environment.
- Experience managing HRIS platforms and benefits systems is considered a strong asset.
- Experience supporting workplace culture initiatives or certification programs is an asset.
- Interest in or experience using AI tools to improve HR processes and productivity.
- Additional education or certifications in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field are considered assets.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 CAD annually.
