Job Title : Electrical Technician
Work Location : Hilton Istanbul Airport
Reporting To : Director of Engineering
An Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards:
- Operate, maintain, and repair all electrical systems throughout the hotel.
- Monitor and effectively utilize the Building Management System (BMS).
- Read and record electrical meter readings on a daily basis.
- Manage maintenance requests and work orders through the hotel's maintenance management system.
- Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical service records.
- Conduct routine technical inspections throughout the hotel.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs of electrical panels, wiring, and the hotel's electrical infrastructure (excluding work requiring external contractors).
- Diagnose faults, install, remove, and repair electric motors.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in guest rooms and public areas.
- Perform maintenance, installation, and replacement of lighting fixtures and lamps.
- Install, configure, and maintain televisions and other electronic equipment.
- Prepare and support the technical setup for meetings, conferences, and special events.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors when required.

- Diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
- MYK (Vocational Qualifications Authority of Türkiye) Vocational Qualification Certificate (preferred, relevant to the profession)
- Previous technical service experience in the hospitality industry or similar facilities is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Strong team player with a responsible and proactive approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
- Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
