As part of the Public Relations team, you will work across multiple business units to strengthen Samsung’s visibility and reputation, build trusted relationships with media, business partners and key stakeholders, and bring corporate, product and corporate social responsibility stories to life.

What You'll be working on?

  • Proactively identify, develop and communicate positive regional and national news stories that strengthen Samsung’s reputation and visibility across the Adriatic region.

  • Respond to media enquiries in a timely, accurate and professional manner, coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders where necessary.

  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media representatives, business stakeholders and other external partners at local and regional levels.

  • Write, edit and proofread press releases, speeches, articles, briefing documents, presentations and other communication materials for internal and external audiences.

  • Develop and deliver annual and campaign-specific public relations plans in collaboration with product teams and other business functions.

  • Define communication objectives and KPIs, align them with product and business priorities, and ensure that agreed activities are delivered effectively.

  • Prepare post-campaign performance reviews, ROI analyses, reports and presentations, using results and insights to recommend improvements to future activities.

  • Manage external PR agencies, including briefing, day-to-day collaboration, quality control, performance monitoring and evaluation.

  • Manage and control budgets related to public relations, public affairs and corporate social responsibility activities.

  • Work closely with Marketing Communications, product teams and other internal stakeholders to align communication priorities, key messages, launch plans and campaign activities.

  • Coordinate product samples for media reviews and product testing through SAP, including requesting products on time, tracking availability and ensuring their return.

  • Gather relevant market and customer insights and communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders.

  • Analyze communication performance and campaign data, draw meaningful conclusions and identify opportunities to increase effectiveness and business value.

Skills and Qualifications

What You'll bring to the team?

  • A university degree, preferably with a background in public relations, communications, journalism or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience managing communication activities for a commercial organization.
  • Experience building relationships with local or regional media and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with IT, technology or lifestyle media would be a strong advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, effectively and concisely with different audiences.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading capabilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • The ability to work independently, take ownership and proactively drive projects through to completion.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across teams, agencies, stakeholders and markets.
  • The ability to translate complex business, product or technical information into clear and engaging communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.

How you will make an impact?

Success in this role means strengthening Samsung’s visibility and reputation through consistent, high-quality external communication across the Adriatic region.

During your first 3 months, you will establish effective working relationships with key media contacts, external agencies, product teams and internal stakeholders. You will become a trusted communication partner for the business while supporting the delivery of communication plans, media activities, events and product campaigns across the region.

You will proactively identify regional and national storytelling opportunities, respond effectively to media enquiries and ensure that communication activities support agreed business priorities. You will also manage external agencies and budgets responsibly, coordinate product samples and media activities efficiently, and support the implementation of Samsung’s corporate social responsibility strategy.

Your impact will be demonstrated through clearly defined KPIs, post-campaign evaluations and ROI reporting that show measurable value and inform continuous improvement.
