We’re seeking a Business Development Manager based in our Lawnton region. In this role, you’ll identify and secure new opportunities across the residential building market, focusing on small to medium-sized builders.
You’ll be responsible for achieving sales and profit targets, while building strong, long-term relationships that drive repeat business and sustainable growth.

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager based in our Lawnton region. In this role, you’ll identify and secure new opportunities across the residential building market, focusing on small to medium-sized builders.
You’ll be responsible for achieving sales and profit targets, while building strong, long-term relationships that drive repeat business and sustainable growth.
Your responsibilities
- Build and maintain new relationships with residential builders, architects and designers within a determined territory
- Achieve and exceed residential sales targets and KPIs
- Grow the residential customer base through project-based sales activity, including specification work, industry events, networking and cold calling
- Manage and develop relationships with builders, negotiate supply agreements, contracts and tenders
- Present and promote market-leading products to Influence specification and project outcomes
- Deliver a high level of customer service across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial engagement through to project completion
- Use strong sales, negotiation and closing skills to secure and convert opportunities
About you
- Experience in the residential building market, particularly with small to medium-sized builders
- Experience in sales or business development, with a consistent track record of achieving targets
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while staying aligned to team goals
- Strong communicator, confident engaging with a wide range of clients and stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and successfully close deals
- Builds strong, lasting relationships that support repeat business
- Commercially focused, with the ability to leverage internal resources to deliver results
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a genuine focus on customer needs
