Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with developers and cloud operations teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate troubleshooting, scripting, automation, and operational analysis.
- Automate repetitive operational activities such as health checks, remediation processes, reporting, patching, maintenance, and deployment support.
- Improve availability, scalability, performance, and observability across AWS-hosted SaaS environments.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft-based hosting environments, including Windows Server, .NET Framework, IIS, and SQL Server components.
- Build and maintain automation workflows, runbooks, documentation, and system configuration records.
- Participate in on-call support for customer-facing production environments and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Develop secure and reliable cloud solutions using AWS services, infrastructure automation, and container technologies.
- Promote responsible AI practices by validating outputs, protecting sensitive information, and ensuring quality and security standards.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations roles.
- Proven experience managing AWS-based production environments in a 24/7 SaaS context.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, AWS Bedrock, Claude-based tools, or similar solutions.
- Ability to use AI for scripting, debugging, automation, troubleshooting, and operational analysis while applying validation and security practices.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform; knowledge of Ansible is a plus.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker, ECS, and EKS.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPC, Route 53, load balancing, private networking, and secure connectivity.
- Experience with AWS security and monitoring services such as IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and related tools.
- Strong Windows Server administration skills, including IIS, .NET Framework, and SQL Server environments.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
- Familiarity with modernizing applications, improving deployment processes, and strengthening reliability practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, solve ambiguous problems, and operate effectively in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
