Position Summary
Bring continuous improvement mindset to a growing Senior Supplement insurance operation. Take individual ownership for delivery on cycle-time, accuracy, and compliance standards on new business applications as part of a high-performance team of accountable, self-directed professionals. Work collaboratively with and assist the underwriters and supporting departments to ensure the applicants and agents receive superior service consistent with the Aetna values.

Responsibilities include

  • Data entering new applications as well as working on requests to data enter new information on existing policies.
  • Escalate customer concerns/issues to leadership for resolution when appropriate.
  • Work paper applications sent in by Conduent that have been omitted in the system.
  • Enter and respond to email requests within 24 to 48 hours of receipt. Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes.
     

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in data entry, policy administration, insurance operations, or related administrative support roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while processing large volumes of information.
  • Strong keyboarding and data entry skills with a proven track record of accuracy and productivity.
  • Experience entering, updating, validating, and maintaining data across multiple systems while ensuring data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to professionally respond to email inquiries and collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive customer information in compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with the ability to meet service level agreements and processing deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams) and experience navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health insurance, supplemental insurance, healthcare administration, or financial services environments.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and follow-through in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and service standards.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
