This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Complex Incentive Sales Manager, you will support the areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. Supporting Hilton Los Cabos and Conrad Punta Mita and reporting to the Complex Director of Group Sales, you will be responsible for the solicitation of new customer relationships and accounts, including Incentive, Domestic, and HWS Accounts, as well as maintaining existing accounts, while consistently striving to increase revenue and promote relationships through effective negotiation of guest rooms for assigned Mexican Resorts.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Represent both resorts in strategic interactions with assigned key accounts regarding sales opportunities, contract negotiations, operational needs, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership development.
  • Negotiate contracts, preferred partnership agreements, and commission agreements with customers and third-party agencies.
  • Provide Commercial Leadership with account intelligence, production updates, market insights, and strategic account performance reports.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned key accounts and develop annual business plans focused on increasing market share, revenue production, account penetration, and customer retention for both resorts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to identify emerging opportunities, future programs, and partnership growth initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to key decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Attend and actively participate in Sales Department meetings, account strategy reviews, forecasting sessions, and commercial planning discussions.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Travel to each resort as needed to conduct site inspections, customer meetings, and strategic account reviews.
  • Travel to customer offices, industry events, tradeshows, and networking functions to uncover new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Group Sales, Catering, Operations, and e-Commerce teams to develop account-specific strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with leadership and property teams to ensure successful execution of customer programs and a seamless client experience.
  • Participate in industry organizations and customer advisory groups as recommended by leadership.

Projects you'll take ownership of:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of assigned key accounts across multiple market segments, ensuring growth in room revenue, events, catering revenue, and overall account contribution.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned customers, including annual revenue goals, market share targets, customer engagement strategies, and business development initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive account analysis including production history, booking patterns, organizational structure, decision-making processes, revenue potential, competitive positioning, and future opportunity pipelines.
  • Develop and execute account-specific marketing initiatives, customer events, site visits, and engagement strategies designed to increase market share and customer loyalty.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing accounts while expanding relationships across multiple divisions, departments, brands, and stakeholders.
  • Establish executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and maintain communication throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Lead annual account reviews, production evaluations, and future business planning meetings with assigned accounts.
  • Maintain accurate account activity, sales pipeline, forecasts, production reports, and customer information within all designated sales systems. Manage travel and entertainment budgets in accordance with company guidelines and approved business plans.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for incremental revenue across group, incentive, leisure, catering, and ancillary revenue streams within assigned accounts.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of Upper Up-Scale experience
  • Recent work experience with the Incentive, Corporate market segments
  • Knowledge of the travel industry, current market trends, and economic factors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience in writing, maintaining, and supervising operational budgets
  • Up to 30% international travel required

It would be useful if you have:

  • Extensive experience in the development and delivery of sales presentations, both in-person and virtual
  • Access, understand, and accurately input information using moderately complex computer systems
  • Effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, that require high levels of patience to diffuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
  • Read, listen and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $85,000 – $120,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
