What Drives Success

As an HVAC Lab Technician, you will support mechanical engineers with the setup, testing, and evaluation of HVAC components, equipment, and prototype systems. This role involves hands-on work in a lab environment, including assembling and modifying mechanical components, conducting operational testing, and documenting results through detailed reports and data analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and test HVAC prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions
  • Fabricate, assemble, and modify mechanical components and assemblies
  • Record and document test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data
  • Support mechanical engineers with product testing and evaluation
  • Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and workload planning
  • Help establish project schedules and completion timelines

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and engineering principles used to create technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).  The starting salary range for this role and market is between $52,000-$68,250 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
